Hi everyone!

My name is Patrícia, and I'm from a small city in the center of Portugal called Covilhã, sometimes referred to as town of wool and snow, but that's something from the past.. both are rare nowadays..  

I did my Bachelor and Master in Biotechnology at University of Beira Interior, Covilhã, Portugal. My master thesis was on understanding the interaction between pDNA and anion exchange resins using a thermodynamic approach.
Now I'm working in Alois Jungbauer group on the adsorption and transport mechanisms of VLPs in anion exchange chromatography resins

In my free time I do Crossfit (almost everyday) and I started Yoga few months ago.
I'm learning German and it's one of my biggest fights at the moment.

I'm in love with Vienna and I like to walk in the city and in the parks.
